Memórias de uma língua de cão
An immersive installation
DOG the body as a territory where memories are living bodies,
storytellers of prohibited and interrupted languages
that remain
fragmented
like the mangy dog,

what is this dog saying?
dog, dOG, doG, dOg, dog, DOG, DOG, DOG
I don't understand a sh*t

This audio-visual installation is
inspired by my childhood
memories that mark the
relationship I have established with my
Indigenous language - Chuwabo;
The body as a territory where inhabit memories of prohibited and interrupted lessons.
A body in protest against the present
omnipresence of the colonial project in
our societies.
What does it mean to be Bantu today?
