Our healing journey engages with coloniality in its multiple expressions of hetero-patriarchy, capitalism, racism, ableism etc. as the one and only oppressive body that denounces the civilizational wound of white modernity rooted in the separation of self from the collective and nonhuman people (rivers, plants, animals, etc.). We center an embodied-storytelling approach around the figure of "momomo" / monster as these shapeshifting mythic creatures that inhabit collective imagination across cultures. We craft an experimental practice of co-creating a space that sustains a multiplicity of truths and perspectives; Around Earth, Water, Air, and Fire elements we ritualize while opening our imagination for new political narratives by sitting with provocative and uncomfortable questions that are calling for new "response-n'dis-abilities" to approach social justice.
